Introduction to Dr Christina Klassen

Dr Christina Klassen is a family physician based at the Boardwalk Medical Centre in Waterloo. She completed her residency at Queen's University in Kingston in 2017 and further specialized in obstetrics and newborn care through a fellowship in Enhanced Maternity Skills at the University of Ottawa in 2018. Prior to moving back to her hometown of Kitchener-Waterloo, Dr Klassen practiced in various locations across the country, including Ottawa and its surroundings, Moose Factory, ON, Yellowknife, NWT, and internationally in Adelaide, Australia.

Dr Klassen has a passion for women's health and is committed to empower women with knowledge and support for their health and reproductive care. Beyond her expertise in family medicine and maternity care, Dr Klassen offers specialized services, including IUD insertions, Nexplanon implant insertion and removal, and Breastfeeding Medicine.
